Greystone Institute to Welcome First International Students with Bachelor of Business Launch in 2026

Greystone Institute, a new private higher education provider based in Brisbane, has received CRICOS registration and will welcome its first cohort of international students in March 2026, marking the group’s entry into degree-level higher education in Australia.

The institute, part of the global ILSC Education Group, will commence delivery of its inaugural program, a three-year Bachelor of Business, on 23 March 2026. The launch represents a significant expansion of ILSC’s Australian offering, which already spans English language education and vocational training.

According to the institute, the Bachelor of Business has been developed in consultation with academic and industry stakeholders and is designed to respond to changing workforce needs. The program integrates traditional business foundations with emerging areas such as artificial intelligence, environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles, and sustainability. An emphasis is placed on applied learning, with students engaging in collaborative projects and contemporary case studies reflecting current global business challenges.

Greystone Institute President Babette Furstner said the focus is on combining academic quality with practical relevance. She noted that the institute aims to prepare graduates for careers in an increasingly complex and globalised economy, equipping them with skills that can be applied across international contexts.

The program will be delivered through small class sizes and a personalised learning model, with strong links to industry engagement. Dean Mitchell Ross said the approach is intended to ensure graduates leave with not only a formal qualification, but also adaptability and ethical awareness suited to a rapidly changing business environment.

Greystone Institute builds on existing study pathways within the ILSC Education Group, which includes ILSC Language Schools and Greystone College’s vocational education and training programs. The addition of a bachelor-level qualification allows international students to progress from English language or VET studies into higher education within the same provider network.

ILSC Education Group CEO Christopher Mediratta described the launch as a natural progression for the organisation, which has operated in the international education sector for more than three decades. He said the establishment of Greystone Institute reflects the group’s long-term commitment to supporting students through extended, multi-stage education journeys.

Greystone Institute is regulated by the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) and operates under the ESOS framework. It joins ILSC Education Group’s global network of language schools, career colleges and pathway services across Australia, Canada, the United States, Ireland and India.

The first intake of students will commence in March 2026, with further program development expected as the institute establishes its presence in Australia’s higher education sector.
