Last week Navitas celebrated its 2023 Business Partners Conference in Bangkok, Thailand.
The two-day conference was an opportunity to connect international higher education professionals from around the world associated with the education powerhouse – university partners, business partners, Navitas staff, students, and more.
This year, the theme was Amplifying Voices: Our Students, People, and Partners. Delegates explored strategies to empower diverse voices and to amplify their messages with confidence.
The sessions asked, how do we build impactful connections with our global communities? How do we become good listeners and active storytellers in the industry? And how can we use technology to better our storytelling and create stronger connections?
Over 200 guests heard from various international higher education professionals, both within Navitas and from their partners. The latest data and research insights from Navitas’ insights and analytics team was presented; the ESG (Environment Social Governance) panel explored how our industry can create a more positive impact for our communities; participants explored the city of Bangkok to uncover Bangkok stories and voices and practice their project pitching skills; they heard from an inspiring panel of Navitas students who shared their thoughts on student worries, dreams, and ambitions; joined an empowering Women in Leadership workshop; and listened to an agent panel with several of Navitas’ experienced business partners.
There was also a celebration some major milestones, including the 25 year partnership anniversaries with Griffith University and Deakin University. The University Partner of the Year Award went to Curtin University, a testament to the strong relationship Navitas has with Curtin via Curtin College and Curtin Singapore.
