QS 2026 MBA Rankings: Australia Secures Four MBAs in Global Top 100, Led by Melbourne Business School

Australia’s business schools have secured strong positions in the newly released QS Global MBA, Business Master’s, and Online MBA Rankings 2026, with Melbourne Business School once again named the nation’s leading full-time MBA provider.

Ranked 31st worldwide, Melbourne Business School improved one place from last year and continues to lead in key areas such as Thought Leadership (13th globally) and Alumni Outcomes (29th). UNSW’s AGSM followed closely in 32nd, excelling in Diversity, where it ranks equal fourth worldwide, while the University of Sydney Business School placed 44th.

In the Online MBA category, AGSM @ UNSW maintained its place among the global elite, ranking fourth in the world. Macquarie Business School (26th) and RMIT (52nd) also featured, highlighting the country’s growing digital business education strength.

QS President Nunzio Quacquarelli noted Australia’s global competitiveness in faculty and student diversity and reputation but warned that return on investment remains a weakness compared to European peers.

Alongside MBA results, 23 Australian business master’s programs were recognised, with six ranked among the global top 50 in their fields, including the University of Sydney (21st in Management), Melbourne Business School (18th in Business Analytics), and Macquarie Business School (40th in Finance).

  9. Northwestern (Kellogg) – United States
  10. Columbia Business School – United States

  1. Melbourne Business School – 31st globally
  2. UNSW (AGSM) – 32nd globally
  3. University of Sydney Business School – 44th globally
  4. UQ Business School – 99th globally
  5. Macquarie Business School (MQBS) – 121–130 globally
