AIRC: The Association of International Enrollment Management and TrainHub have announced a new professional certificate course, Fundamentals of US Education and Admissions, available to educational counselors at no charge on the TrainHub platform. The course provides essential knowledge about the American higher education system, supporting professional standards in international student recruitment for this leading destination market.

The partnership utilises TrainHub’s learning ecosystem providing educational counselors worldwide access to comprehensive training on US higher education systems, admissions processes, campus life, immigration procedures, and best practices for working with US institutions.

“This accessible training will make it possible to increase the knowledge of US higher education and admissions to many more agency counselors and to understand AIRC’s global focus on quality and the benefits of AIRC’s Certification,” said Clay Harmon, AIRC Executive Director. AIRC certification is based on objective standards and helps AIRC fulfill its Standards Development Organization (SDO) role, as recognised by the U.S. Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission.

“With counselors enrolling throughout the year, AIRC’s counselor training is one of our most popular programs,” explained Jennifer Wright, AIRC Director of Operations and Certification. “We are excited that this training will become part of a diverse menu of offerings that provide the knowledge and skills that counselors need to serve international students seeking educational opportunities.”

“We’re proud to integrate AIRC’s Fundamentals of US Education and Admissions course into TrainHub’s growing ecosystem of essential training resources,” says Jimmy Battaglia, Head of TrainHub. “This partnership brings together AIRC’s expertise as a recognized Standards Development Organization with TrainHub’s ability to deliver high-quality training at scale. By making this valuable content accessible to thousands more recruitment partners worldwide, we’re advancing our shared mission of elevating professional standards in international education.”

This integration brings AIRC’s training to TrainHub’s extensive network of thousands of recruitment partners worldwide, advancing both organizations’ commitment to transparency, professionalism, and ethical recruitment practices. The course is available now, and recruitment partners can create a free TrainHub account at trainhub.com to access this and other essential training resources.

Commenting on the course, AIRC President Robert Summers said, “With this new partnership, the training course on US Education and Admissions has significant potential to benefit the International Enrollment Management field. This will, in turn, positively affect the experience of the over 1.1 million international  students in the US and increase the roughly $43 billion that their presence adds to our economy. I am thrilled that, through this partnership, AIRC reinforces our commitment to being a leader in this space.”
