IEAA National Symposium

The theme for IEAA’s 2026 National Symposium is partnerships for the future. Join us as we focus on existing and emerging partnerships that have the potential to enhance Australian international education – across all sectors – as we navigate increased policy and regulatory change.
The Symposium opens with keynotes on Thursday evening and Friday morning from senior voices within and adjacent to international education. These are followed by expert-led provocations and panel sessions that explore multiple perspectives on partnerships throughout the student journey. Our 2026 National Symposium also features the outcomes of IEAA’s Agent Quality Research Project, which is currently in progress.
IEAA’s National Symposium is timed for the commencement of the 2026 academic year and provides a significant networking and peer-learning opportunity. We identify emerging issues and ‘agenda-setting’ priorities for the year ahead in international education in Australia. This annual event brings together diverse stakeholders from across Australia’s international education community including senior managers, decision-makers and leaders who shape policy within government and education institutions.
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from, and network with, experts and peers from across Australia’s international education community. This event has sold out every year, so book your place now.
