Announcing the 2024 English Australia Annual Awards Finalists

English Australia has announced the finalists in its 2024 Awards Program. English Australia and its award sponsors believe it is important to recognise individuals and organisations that make outstanding contributions to raising the professionalism of the English language sector of international education in Australia and to celebrate their achievements, dedication, and inspiration.

Awards nominations open in April each year and most awards are open to any organisation registered on CRICOS to deliver English language courses. Each award is judged by a panel of relevant industry experts and all winners are announced at the annual English Australia Conference in September.

The 2024 finalists are:

Innovation Award Finalists:

Snezhana Chernova, TAFE QLD for ‘VanDoodle Yourself’ project

Tanya Dahlenburg, Paula Dimmell, and Kathy Watson, The University of Adelaide English Language Centre for EMI Resource Hub

Patrick Hayeck, Scots English College for The Pronunciation and Communication Course

Kourosh Langarizadeh, ILSC Australia for WireUp AI-enabled GPT assistant chatbot
