According to data sourced by the Koala from data.gov.au an additional 6,171 student places were added to the CRICOS register between April and May.
The May data for CRICOS registrations was published on 1 May. It indicates:
Student places:
There were 1,520,584 allocated places across CRICOS institutions. Compared to the April number of 1,514,413, the register has grown by 6,171 places.
Registered Providers:
The number of institutions on the resister increased from 1479 in April to 1483 in the May data, with an addition of 4 providers.
Registered Courses:
There were 26,034 registered courses in May, compared to 25,937 in April, meaning 97 additional courses were added to the register in the past month.
