IEAA Admissions and Compliance Forum
| In the wake of the significant disruption caused by the proposed Education Services for Overseas Students Amendment (Quality and Integrity) Bill 2024, the sector continues to grapple with uncertainty. As we await further clarity from the current or incoming government on their approach to managing Net Overseas Migration and its potential impact on our industry, the 2025 forum will serve as a crucial platform for sharing strategies and solutions.
Listening to your feedback after the 2024 forum, this year’s forum will emphasise knowledge exchange, focusing on how institutions adapted in 2024 and have been preparing for 2025. Experts and senior staff from various institutions will share their insights and experiences over the course of the 3-day event. Discussions will cover not just operational processes and systems, but also strategies for supporting staff wellbeing. The forum will also feature representatives from the Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Education in person. The Admissions and Compliance Forum offers invaluable support, professional development, and networking opportunities for members of the network and other professionals involved in or interested in international admissions and compliance.
