IEAA Scholarships and Fellowships Forum 2024

While sponsored students experience many of the same challenges as other students across the student lifecycle, they often have unique requirements and obligations. Understanding the needs of these distinct student cohorts helps international education practitioners expand the opportunities and manage the expectations of funding organisations, and recipients alike.

There are many organisations which provide funding for both in-bound and out-bound scholarships and fellowships, and they play an important role in the Australian international education sector. Effective management of the relevant relationships is crucial.

IEAA’s Scholarships and Fellowships Network provides a platform for practitioners to identify, discuss and disseminate issues of concern, showcase best practice and innovative solutions, as well as developing the specialised skills of international education practitioners whose work involves scholarships and fellowships.
