IEAA Teaching and Learning Forum 2026

International education is operating in an environment of heightened scrutiny and expectation. Institutions are increasingly required to demonstrate academic integrity, curriculum relevance, and meaningful student outcomes, while responding to policy shifts, technological change, and growing diversity within international student cohorts. The 2026 IEAA Teaching and Learning Network Forum examines how institutions are navigating this transformation in practice. Beyond technical redesign, change in teaching and learning involves uncertainty, competing priorities, and differing perspectives across teachers, professional staff, leaders, and external stakeholders. The Forum will explore how these tensions are being engaged constructively, and how institutions are pursuing credible and sustainable reform while honouring multiple viewpoints.

Drawing on perspectives across sectors and industry, the Forum situates curriculum and assessment reform within its broader educational and workforce context. Through sector framing, case-based insights, and interactive design studios, participants will engage with practical approaches to strengthening trust in academic standards, enhancing curriculum relevance, and fostering inclusive learning environments that support belonging. The Forum emphasises institutional learning and shared leadership, equipping participants with approaches that can be embedded across programs and governance structures
