The IEAA have a number of upcoming events that sector members should see as valuable to not only the development of the sector but a great opportunity for professional development.

IEAA Student Life and AGSI Webinar – Developing intercultural understanding through school partnerships

Held: 20 March, 2025

Venue: Online

This free webinar is co-hosted by IEAA’s Student Life Network and Australian Government Schools International (AGSI), titled ‘Developing intercultural understanding through school partnerships’ .

The webinar will explore the establishment of school partnerships as a means of delivering intercultural understanding and capability. Discussion will include existing research on the benefits and effectiveness of school partnerships, case studies and best practice examples of delivery, benefits and outcomes (including school and student testimonials) and resources and tips on how to start a school partnership with an overseas school.

This is aimed at schools sector and anyone interested in developing international schools partnerships.

IEAA Admissions and Compliance Forum – Call for Proposals Open

The IEAA 2025 Admissions and Compliance Forum offers invaluable support, professional development, and networking opportunities for network members and other professionals involved and interested in international admissions and compliance.

Held: 14-16 May, 2025

IEAA Marketing and Recruitment Forum – Call for Proposals Open

This year’s theme, Adapting to Disruption: Building a Future-Ready Strategy, highlights the importance of developing advanced marketing and recruitment skills. Attendees will learn how to design impactful campaigns, optimise digital outreach, analyse recruitment data for strategic insights, and enhance engagement techniques to foster genuine connections with prospective students and stakeholders.

Held: 4-5 June, 2025
