Nominations are now open for the 2025 International Education Association of Australia (IEAA) Excellence Awards, which honour outstanding contributions to the international education sector.
Now in their 17th year, the IEAA Excellence Awards celebrate individuals and teams who are shaping the future of international education in Australia through leadership, innovation, research, and best practice. The Awards spotlight the achievements of professionals working to support international students and strengthen Australia’s position as a global education destination.
“International education supports over 240,000 jobs in Australia, and those individuals help hundreds of thousands of students to realise their dreams,” said IEAA President Professor Ren Yi. “The IEAA Excellence Awards offer a chance to honour the people who make Australia a premier destination for the world’s best and brightest.”
IEAA Chief Executive Officer Hon Phil Honeywood added: “Australian professionals in international education know the deep passion our community shares for empowering students from across the globe. These Awards shine a spotlight on the individuals and teams who embody that commitment.”
