The Council of Australasian University Directors of Information Technology (CAUDIT) is the peak body for ICT in the Higher Education and Research sectors. They held their annual awards last week.
CAUDIT brings together University and Research Institutions from across Australasia and the South Pacific with approximately 65 Members in three Membership categories. Each Member is represented by the most senior person with strategic and operational responsibility for ICT.
The annual awards highlight excellence and innovation across the higher education and eResearch sectors through recognising, celebrating and promoting the outstanding achievements and innovation of staff working in IT at CAUDIT member Institutions. These staff have applied digital capabilities to positively transform the experience of students, academics, researchers and professional staff.
CEO of CAUDIT, Greg sawyer said “The CAUDIT Awards acknowledge and celebrate those IT teams and individuals who tirelessly work behind the scenes, often unnoticed, to propel the sector towards a brighter future. We are not just recognising individual efforts; we are shining a spotlight on the collective capacity that thrives within the higher education and research sector.”
