ACBC Announces 2023 Education and Tourism Symposium

The Australian China Business Council have announced the Education and Tourism Symposium to be held on 24-25 October to explore challenges, opportunities and future directions.

The forum, a highlight on the International Education calendar in the past, aims to address the unique needs of Chinese international students, Australia’s largest international student cohort.

This year will focus on new challenges and providing a world-class education experience to Chinese international students. A sub-theme will be synergies between the education and tourism sectors.

Speakers locked in for the symposium include:

  • The Hon Anoulack Chanthivong MP, NSW Minister for Industry and Trade
  • Lord Mayor Rt Hon Clover Moore AO, City of Sydney
  • Ms Catriona Jackson, Chief Executive, Universities Australia; and
  • Ms Vicki Thomson, Chief Executive & Director, Group of Eight

Dirk Mulder
