Australia’s leading English language education event, the English Australia Annual Conference 2025, will take place at the Pullman Brisbane from 27–29 August, bringing together educators, policymakers, and sector leaders for three days of collaboration and forward thinking.

Widely regarded as the premier event for the English Language Teaching (ELT) sector, the conference serves as a platform for exchanging ideas, addressing challenges, and exploring emerging opportunities in international education. Attendees can expect insights into policy updates, innovative teaching methodologies, and evolving trends in student engagement and support.

The theme for this year’s conference is “Adapting, Evolving, Leading”—reflecting the sector’s response to ongoing change, from policy reform to the rapid integration of generative AI technologies and shifting student expectations.

Conference sessions will explore:

  • How ELICOS institutions are adapting to new policy landscapes and refining support strategies;
  • Ways educators are evolving curricula and assessments using digital tools and AI;
  • Examples of how sector leaders are leading through change with vision and resilience.

The event will attract a diverse audience from across the ELT landscape, including teachers, academic managers, institutional leaders, service providers, and government representatives. In addition to its educational program, the conference offers valuable networking and partnership opportunities for those shaping the future of English language education in Australia.

Early bird registrations close 26 June 2025.

For details and to register, see here.
