English Australia has launched the 2023 National ELICOS Market Survey.

Bonard, English Australia’s research partner, has already commenced contacting member colleges with the invitation to participate in the survey.

English Australia CEO, Ian Aird says “The annual National ELICOS Market Survey has been one of the most valued and in-depth sources of market intelligence for Australian ELICOS providers for as long as I can remember.”

“English Australia’s research partner Bonard has delivered year after year with innovations that make the survey easier to complete and provide actionable insights in more accessible ways.”

“The value of the National ELICOS Market Survey is higher than ever in the radically different post-COVID context. This is the only market intelligence that provides into the non-student-visa market. It’ll be so important for ELICOS providers to be involved this year to really understand how the shifts in the source markets are playing out.”

“As all English Australia members know, ELICOS is so different to the university, VET, and Schools sectors in Australia. This survey helps make those differences clear for all stakeholders and helps English Australia communicate with those stakeholders, including the government, the unique needs and contribution of the ELICOS sector to Australia’s international education sector as a whole.” He said

The past twelve months, has seen an incredible increase in students returning to our shores for face-to-face lessons. English Australia’s email to members said “it is imperative that we draw insights from our continued recovery in 2023 so that we can make decisions to benefit our sector now and in the future. The survey will capture all ELICOS student data for 2023 (onshore, offshore, and online) across all visa types.”

The survey findings will be presented in person in June in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney.

All participating colleges will be invited to the presentation and will receive a complimentary copy of the market report.

Please email elicos@bonard.com if, as a member college, you have not yet received your invitation to participate or would like to confirm your college representative to complete this survey.

The survey will remain open until COB Friday, 23 February 2024.
