The 2025 NEAS Conference will take place on 22-23 May at the UTS Aerial Function Centre in Sydney, New South Wales.
Registrations are now open, with access to discount Early Bird Tickets available for NEAS members until Tuesday, 31 December 2024.
This year’s conference’s theme, “Pathways to Belonging: Our Role in Building Communities,” will explore how English Language Teaching (ELT) goes beyond language proficiency to create inclusive, supportive environments that shape vibrant and inclusive communities in Australia and around the world.
This conference offers plenty of opportunities for interactions through networking sessions, hands-on workshops, and engaging plenaries and panel discussions. Topics will include community engagement, mental health support for ESL students, leadership in diverse learning environments, technology for community building, and more.
The NEAS conference will bring together professionals dedicated to making a positive impact on learners’ lives, exploring both the challenges and the transformative potential of ELT in global communities. If you’d like to contribute, submit your abstract here.
