Thank you! The Koala Concludes Its Forum Series
Share on LinkedinShare on TwitterShare on FacebookShare via Email

The Koala concluded its forum series in Sydney yesterday with two lively discussions throughout the day. Previous forums were held in Brisbane and Melbourne in the weeks preceding.

Each session was limited in numbers to provide an intimate focus group style event with participants walking through a number of discussion items under the following areas:

  • Trends, Strategy and Collaboration
  • Key Agent Issues
  • Migration and Accommodation
  • Student Support

The discussion was easy-flowing and robust, with key discussion items being improved upon within an action research methodology from each session to the next, from Brisbane to Melbourne to Sydney.

A big thank you to session leaders, Dr Sarah Todd, Elaine Starkey, Robert Parsonson, Adam Kilburn, and David Bycroft, for their facilitation and leadership.

The Koala thanks participants across all forums and looks forward to supporting the great work underway by peak bodies and other industry stakeholders in welcoming the new government and contributing to a new period where the sector supports Australia’s social and economic prosperity.

Outcomes from the sessions will be included in a document that will be widely available in the not-too-distant future
