Study NSW has announced, in collaboration with Business Events Sydney, they have secured the EDUtech Congress and Expo to return to Sydney for 2025-27.

EDUtech is Australia’s largest education conference, attracting about 10,000 academics, training providers and innovators.  The event will provide the opportunity for industry leaders to share their insights and groundbreaking technologies that are changing the way people teach and learn around the globe.

Taking place take place at the International Convention Centre in Sydney on 11-12 June 2025, EDUtech is the anchor event for the NSW EdTech Summit a free education technology festival, delivered by Study NSW, EDUtech and industry partners across Sydney. The NSW EdTech Summit will be held in multiple venues across Sydney from 10-13 June 2025, with a series of events and site activations with industry partners. The Summit aims to showcase NSW capabilities as a leading Asia Pacific destination for EdTech.

Study NSW recognises the critical and growing importance of education technology, and its role in international education. Since 2023, Study NSW has partnered with EduGrowth to deliver “AmplifyED”, a program designed to accelerate the education innovation environment by connecting innovative NSW EdTech companies with sector-wide engagements. The program delivers annual engagements including ‘EdTech Alley’ – a thought leadership summit bringing together the brightest minds of NSW EdTech professionals, a Women’s Education Leaders Syndicate and Market Export Masterclasses. In 2023, NSW had 273 EdTech companies (39% of Australia’s total), which employed 7,300 people and generated $1.4 billion in annual revenue (44% of national total) (source: EduGrowth).

Minister for Industry and Trade, The Hon Anoulack Chanthivong says “Sydney is the natural home for the EduTECH Congress and Expo – we hosted the first event back in 2011, and while it’s moved around the country since then, it’s great to have it back in the city where it all began.

“NSW has a diverse EdTech sector – we’re home to 273 companies that are transforming the way teachers teach and students learn, and we look forward to showcasing many of their innovative products and services at the expo next year.”

For more information and to book your early bird tickets (50 per cent off) see here.

For further information on other EdTech opportunities in NSW or to get involved in the Study NSW “AmplifyED” EdTech program see here.

The Koala congratulates Study NSW and Business Events Sydney for securing the congress and expo.
