MyStay International has announced its intention to relaunch the American Homestay Network to capitalise on the potential of homestay opportunities in the USA.
The company, which has the well-known Australian Homestay Network in its portfolio, is seeking a USA-based investment partner to own 50% of the relaunched American Homestay Network (AHN-USA).
Founder and Executive Director David Bycroft has spoken exclusively with The Koala and states, “The investment opportunity is USD 2.5M for 50% equity and a Board position. The entire investment will fund the system development, market-entry, operations, and relaunch.”
MyStay International (MSI) is the current 100% owner and is a global Hosted Accommodation and Technology provider based in Brisbane, Australia.
Bycroft states “MSI will be actively involved in the strategy, technology development, support, and management of AHN-USA. Our strategy addresses the substantial rise in International Student enrolment in US colleges and universities and will build off a history of operations in the USA (pre-COVID).”
“It is also ideally timed during the current accommodation crisis in key international student locations.” He says.
The Koala wishes MSI well with its expansion plans.
