Manchester Metropolitan University has joined with Navitas to create a new international college in the heart of Manchester.
The Manchester Metropolitan University International College will offer Foundation, International Year One and Pre-Masters pathway programmes to undergraduate and postgraduate students across various subjects.
The programmes will prepare students for progression onto degree programmes at Manchester Metropolitan and future success in their chosen field. The new international college will welcome its first intake of students in September 2025.
Professor Malcolm Press CBE, Vice-Chancellor, Manchester Metropolitan University, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Navitas to deliver the Manchester Metropolitan University International College, which is an exciting part of our future strategy. International students add significantly to the vibrancy of our University, bringing greater diversity and talent and enhancing the experience of all our students and staff. We are a university that is recognised for providing an outstanding student experience, being rated Gold in the Teaching Excellence Framework and top 15 in England in the National Student Survey.”
Paul Lovegrove, Chief Executive Officer of Navitas University Partnerships Europe, said he is excited about the prospect of jointly launching a college and welcoming many new international students over the coming years to study with one of the largest universities in the UK in such a vibrant, global city.
