The first quarterly meeting for 2024 of the EVCC went overtime this morning.

The Koala understands that over 70 sector stakeholders were provided with the opportunity to express their concerns about policy changes that have occurred since December last year.

The International Education Association of Australia (IEAA) will facilitate a meeting in Canberra next week where several draft policy recommendations will be discussed. It is hoped consensus may be achieved on initiatives the government currently contemplating.

It is understood that this would include provider risk rating levels and other matters arising from Ministerial Direction 107 and the proposed Genuine Student Test (GST).
