New fact sheet clarifies NOSC deferrals, suspensions and cancellations
Share on LinkedinShare on TwitterShare on FacebookShare via Email

In response to provider queries about the impact of deferrals, suspensions and cancellations on New Overseas Student Commencements (NOSCs) and Ministerial Direction 111, the Department of Education has released a new fact sheet.

The NOSC Factsheet: deferrals, suspensions and cancellations, provides a range of scenarios and then explains how the rules of MD111 and indicative allocations apply in each scenario.

One consistent rule across the three is that if a student has not undertaken any study and the Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) is deferred, suspended or cancelled then that CoE will not/will no longer count as a NOSC.

The Factsheet is available here.
